After nearly a year abstaining myself from blogging I decided to re-pen my thoughts and be useful again. I can't help noticing that the local Malaysian internet news portals, especially that support the PR such as MALAYSIAKINI, are flooding the cyberspace with their usual complaints and moanings about the so-called bad treatment the minorities are getting from the BN government. Well, why only now this thing is coming up and in full force, and it seems like a well rehearsed and concerted effort to undermine any credibility left of the BN government.
I also can't help noticing that the opposition is slowly gaining ground and this is attributed due to the single fact that the malays are not united. Any bickering between PAS and UMNO is good news to the PR, especially the DAP. Any sign of a get together between PAS and UMNO will somehow stir something interesting within the DAP. The DAP has played their racial cards very well indeed, any evidence of UMNO talking about malay rights, NEP, 30% equity stake and so on is a no-no to DAP, however I see that UMNO doesn't give a damn if DAP talks anything racial.
Every effort is now being done by the opposition to convince malaysians that BN is a corrupted party, umno is no longer relevant, DSN is too scandalised and must face a royal commission of enquiry to clear his name, and many more bla bla bla that sicken the ear. What the ordinary malaysians do not realise is that all these are the very well orchestrated propaganda of the Oposition and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the present BN government and the country as a whole. A sensible person will not let an extremist party like DAP rule this predominantly Malay land, let alone let it become like Singapore. Singapore's meritocracy has destroyed any credibility left of the Malay population. The Malays of Singapore have now become like the Red Indians of America. Do we want this to happen to Malaysia? Please think logically, not emotionally!
The best strategy for BN or UMNO is to face metal with metal. All this while BN has been rather laid back and on the defensive. It cannot afford to maintain this strategy anymore. BN must be on the offensive and start attacking all possible sources of intimidation, especially the internet news portals such as MALAYSIAKINI which should have been banned a long time ago. BN shouldn't be seen as being too accomadating. It must strike hard, and strike right where it hurts most, once and for all, for the sake of justice!
